WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

“Working with Dani over the last 60 days has not only been successful but also educational. Before i never had a regimen with eating or working out, and wasn’t very disciplined When it came to my nutrition. I was always the type to just go for the sweets or have what i want for lunch because I’m a person of convenience.
Being a cop sometimes you look for the most convenient thing available instead of going for the most nutritional. Working with Dani I was able to find different foods that helped with my energy levels and a routine that fits into my lifestyle that mainly involves balancing long work hours and family.
I redeveloped the discipline I used to have and through successfully meal prepping, formulating a workout plan that worked for me, and prioritizing sleep and balanced nutrition I was able to lose 18 pounds and am still on track to continue my progress.
My strength has increased tremendously as well now that I’m eating and training properly and I’ve come to enjoy other forms of cardio other than walking on a treadmill for 40 minutes. Now I make it fun by going on long family walks and each one I make more challenging. Thank you, Dani, for the guidance and knowledge and thank you Reps for Responders!”

“I don’t know how else to start this but to say thank you, over and over again. I was at a low point in my life. I was constantly tired, not eating right, working a lot, not really sleeping, and not working out that much. I had no drive to better myself and felt so down about myself. I was constantly saying I need to do this or need to do that and just kind of left it as that. I didn’t have a positive outlook on things changing so I just never even tried.
Reps for Responders gave me an amazing opportunity and I knew from that moment, I had no choice but to get my butt in gear and turn my life around, mentally and physically. They connected me with a trainer, Dani. I can not say enough good words about her! She pushed me day in and day out. She really took the time to get to know things I did and didn’t like. She tailored my workouts to me and pushed me to try new things.
My work schedule was hectic and there were times where I missed workouts but I continued to see results and I just kept wanting to push harder and better myself. 60 days later, I am now 15 pounds down and feeling amazing! I am happier, healthier, sleeping better, feeling better at work, and I have more of a positive outlook on life. It may have only been 2 months but the 2 months completely changed me, for the better.
I can’t thank Reps for Responders and Dani enough for everything they have done for me!”

“Reps has changed my state of mind by giving me a chance to be open about my demons. Being a C.O. isn’t easy, having to deal with all aspects of the stressful environment and adding personal demons. I’ve been dealing with Severe Depression. I’ve never been the type to talk about it or never learned to deal with it the right way.
Reps helped me see the good in myself and gave me the ability to always have a safe place to be open and honest on how I feel. Giving me a place to clear my mind which then gives me the chance to take my strength training to another level knowing it’s ok to not be ok. Thank you Reps for holding meetings and I truly and genuinely appreciate you guys.”

“Reps for Responders is a great non for profit organization that has helped me greatly. Frank and his team have created a safe, loving, caring and judgement free community and have provided a platform for first responders like myself to speak freely about personal hardships that may be endured on or off the job. They listen, encourage and provide any assistance that they can to make sure you're in good health, both mentally and physically. They encourage living a healthy lifestyle and promote the use of physical fitness as an outlet. Reps for Responders is a one-of-a-kind organization that has changed my life for the better.”

“Absolutely great working with Dani Tocci this past month, I highly recommend anyone looking for a lifestyle change/nutrition help to work with her. She really knows her stuff and designs programs that work with the goals you want to achieve.
A thank you to Reps for Responders for getting me involved with her. Thanks to her help I dropped a little over 12 pounds in just a month and now have the tools I need to continue and get my body where I want it to be.”

“I am a 42 year old construction worker by day and a CrossFit Coach/Trainer by night. This wasn’t always my profession, it was abusing alcohol and destroying my family. I found CrossFit by chance and it changed my life! It opened so many positive and healthy friendships. CrossFit allowed me to find myself and see that I needed to fix myself before I could continue in any way further in life.
Fast forward to COVID pandemic, Courtney from No Matter What Apparel reached out to the fitness community. She was looking for coaches to volunteer for Zoom classes. Courtney explained what Reps for Responders is doing for the first responders. When she finished explaining I was 100% in, whatever I could do I was gonna!
These men and women give their time, energy, wellbeing, safety, etc for their communities for very little in return. What I learned is many suffer from PSTD, substance abuse, depression, and more. These real life hero’s need a place to turn for guidance much like the people they are helping. It didn’t take long to see Reps for Responders was a safe haven where they can find online groups, gyms, and information to help guide them in the right direction. There is no judgement, it’s confidential, and a great way to see they are not alone.
This group really embraces all, if you are hurting, know someone that is suffering, have questions or concerns get in touch! One day at a time is how I deal with what life throws at me. I needed help to realize that. Thank you for all you have done for me! My small contribution doesn’t compare to the piece of mind you have given me.”

“Even though I have a few '24s' under my belt, this recent pandemic had me seeking additional support during this time. Being able to share and get connected with other first responders has been instrumental to my continued recovery.
We never meet people having a good day, and seeking mental health support from others on the front lines has helped me in ways that other groups cannot. We are supposed to be the ones that people go to in crisis, but what happens when we need to support ourselves. I plan on 'keep coming back'”

“I am writing this to state how much Reps for Responders means to me. At a really low point in my life, I reached out for help and Reps for Responders was there for me. I sat in the first virtual meeting, listened to other men and women, first responders, essential personnel that understood my challenges, my obstacles, my issues without judgement. I broke down and admitted a very ugly secret, one I had never verbalized to anyone else.
What happened was after that meeting was concluded, Frank and Joe held a 10-85 meeting for me. For the next hour, we spoke, I verbalized my pain, cried without any shame, without any judgement and realized that I had hit rock bottom and was shown that once you've hit that point, there is only one direction to travel, up. If you need to talk to someone and you are OTJ, this really is the only organization I trust. There is empathy and professionalism to assist you. Fidelis Ad Mortem.”

“Reps for Responders has helped me realize that mental health is just as important as physical health. I have to take care of myself at all costs and a positive attitude can improve all areas of your life. If my mental outlook is clear then my other every day challenges don’t seem so difficult.”

“Thank you Reps For Responders for this opportunity! Coach Dani was awesome. Very informative, tailored a daily workout and meal guidance to fit my needs. Also, she was motivational and kept me accountable and listened to my input for additional options for training due to lack of equipment. Definitely would recommend people I know to utilize her as a source. She also was relatable, and the video chat check ins were a huge plus factor for the journey. I would say it hugely impacted my mental health because of her suggestions on supplements, I have hardly used my medication that was prescribed for sleep.”

“I want to thank Reps for Responders for helping me get back on track after a rough year. My family lost my father in law and my grandfather. Having to stay strong for my loved ones was difficult and as a result I put on some negative pounds. Thanks to Reps for putting me in touch with Dani Tocci. She is extremely knowledgeable in being able to help with nutrition and lifestyle changes. Mrs. Tocci is very helpful and really holds you to your goals. With her help I was able to drop 2-3 pounds of bad weight and add size in areas I wanted. I would highly recommend Mrs. Tocci to anyone looking for assistance. I hope to one day be able to help Reps out and give back in the way they helped myself.”

“Reps for Responders has changed my mindset from constantly feeling anxious and worried to feeling comfortable knowing I have people who support me with all of life’s struggles. I recently went through a change in my life and I received great help and feedback from reps for responders to help me on my road to recovery to become a better person.”
